Privacy

MyLittleSong is run by one person, for parents. This page says plainly what we keep, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it. No lawyer wrote it, and there is nothing hidden in it.

What we keep

• Your account. Your email address and a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password. We cannot read your password.
• What you type into the song wizard. A first name, an age, a nickname, family names, and the details you want in the song. We use these to write the lyrics and nothing else.
• Your songs. The lyrics and the audio, kept in your library so you can play them again.
• Purchases. How many song credits you have and when you bought them. PayPal handles the payment itself — your card number never reaches us.
• A scrambled fingerprint of your IP address, kept about a day, so one person cannot claim unlimited free clips. We store the hash, not the address.

Cookies

• Staying logged in. One cookie holds your session. Without it the site cannot tell it is you, so it is always on.
• Counting visits. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without following you anywhere else.
• Google Analytics. Only if you agreed when we asked. It uses cookies. We strip everything after the ? in the address before reporting a page, so private links never reach Google.
• Meta Pixel. Only if you agreed when we asked. It helps us see whether Facebook/Instagram ads lead to signups and purchases. It uses cookies from Meta.

Who else touches your data

These companies help run the site and only get what they need to do their job:

• Vercel — hosting and page-view counts.
• Neon — the database your account and songs live in.
• Resend — sends password resets and free-song links.
• PayPal — takes payments.
• Meta — only if you agreed to analytics cookies: measures visits, signups, and purchases so we can run ads for MyLittleSong.
• OpenRouter — the AI service that writes lyrics and music from the details you entered.

We do not sell your data. We only use advertising measurement when you opt in to analytics cookies.

Children

Accounts are for grown-ups. Songs are about children, but children do not sign up, and we ask for a first name and age only so the words fit. Please do not type a last name, an address, a school, or anything else you would not want stored on a server.

Getting rid of it

You can delete any song from your library whenever you like, and it goes for good. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email us and we will do it by hand.

Asking us something

Write to patrickfaustino@gmail.com and a person will read it.
